Delete a company or complex that is currently in use

If a company or complex is in use, that is, if one or more farms have been linked to it, you will not be able to delete it in the Client structure section on the Client Home screen. In order to delete this company or complex, you will first have to move the farms that are linked to it to a different company or complex.

Important:

In a previous software version of the Aviapp® platform, each user could use free text fields during the creation of a new farm to specify the company and complex to which the farm belongs. This led to the creation of a number of duplicate companies and complexes, causing confusion among the users.

For this reason, we strongly recommend you to clean up your existing collection of companies and complexes by moving all farms from the duplicate to the correct company or complex and subsequently deleting all duplicates.

  1. Select the Farms tab to open the Farms Home screen.
  2. Select on the Farms Home screen.
  3. Use the Company and Complex filters in the Add filter pane to search for duplicate companies or complexes.
  4. Once you have found a farm that belongs to a duplicate company or complex, select its farm card on the Farms Home screen to open the farm's detail page.
  5. Select the Edit icon: .
  6. Select the correct company and/or complex in the Company and Complex fields.
  7. Select Save farm.

    Once you have made sure that no more farms are linked to the duplicate company or complex that you want to delete, you can return to the Aviapp® admin panel to delete it.

  8. Go to the Client structure section on the Client Home screen of the Aviapp® admin panel:
    1. Go to the Aviapp® admin panel (see section Access the Aviapp admin panel).
    2. Select the Client tab to open the Client Home screen.
  9. Do any of the following:
    • To delete a company from the Client structure section, select Delete next to the company.
    • To delete a complex from a company, select the icon next to the complex.
