Select a farm and flock when adding or editing a visit

  1. Do any of the following:
    When ...Select ...
    adding a new visit Add visit on the Visits Home screen.
    editing an existing visit the chicken icon on the relevant visit card on the Visits Home screen.
  2. Select the Farm field.
  3. Do any of the following:

    • To filter the farms list, select one or more filters.

    • To search for a farm name, type the name in the Search for a farm field.

  4. Select the relevant farm and select Close.
  5. Do any of the following:
    • Select a flock in the Select a flock pane.
    • If the farm has too many active flocks to fit into the Select a flock pane, select Show all and select a flock in the Select a flock screen that appears.

    • Select Add flock if the flock doesn't exist in Aviapp® yet.

      In this way, you can create a new flock without first having to navigate to the farm's detail page.

      Note:

      When you add a flock during the creation of a visit via the Visits Home screen, you will need to enter the age of the flock on the day of the visit (not the actual age of the flock).

      Note: If a Duplicate flock warning message appears, select Merge flocks to merge the two flocks, if necessary. If a Selected house already has flock warning message appears, select Yes to archive the flock, if necessary.
  6. To deselect the flock that you have selected in the Select a flock pane, select the x button on the flock card.
  7. To edit the flock that you have selected in the Select a flock pane, select the button on the flock card.
    Note: To cancel your changes, select All visits.
